Mail-In Repairs
Mail-in repair is available for common, lower-risk repairs such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and similar part-level work. We do not currently offer motherboard-level repairs through mail-in service. If you need advanced data recovery, we recommend DriveSavers. Make sure to use our partner code: DS59649 for a special discount!
We review every mail-in request before shipment to make sure the repair is a good fit and to avoid unnecessary delays or issues.
Devices with swollen batteries should not be shipped. If your device has a swollen battery, frame separation, overheating, puncture damage, smoke, or other battery safety concerns, contact us first. Mail-in service is not available for those devices.
Request approval
Start with the quote form first. Please do not ship anything until we review the request and send instructions.
Shipping label provided
We will create the shipping label on your behalf, invoice you that amount, and email you the label upon payment.
Inspection and quote
Once the device arrives, we inspect the device, confirm the repair scope, check for hidden damage, and provide or confirm the final repair quote.
Repair and return
After confirmation, the repair is completed, tested, and shipped back by USPS with tracking. Return shipping is added to the final invoice, which must be paid before the device is shipped.
What is required
- Use a rigid box, not a soft mailer.
- Pack the device securely so it is protected and cannot move around inside the box.
- Take clear photos of the device before shipping in case the package is lost or damaged.
- Do not ship without approval first.
- Include the required mail-in form or a clearly written note in the package. Missing information may increase wait times.
Inbound shipping responsibility
- Customer assumes responsibility for packing quality, shipment risk, and condition documentation before shipment.
- If the device is not packaged properly or its condition is not documented before shipment, we are not liable for shipping damage, loss, or condition disputes.
- Devices that do not meet our safety or shipping guidelines may be refused and returned.
Condition on arrival
Device condition is determined based on inspection and photos taken when the package is opened. Hidden damage, prior repair damage, or additional faults may affect the repair and final pricing.
Estimates and timing
Mail-in quotes are estimates until the device is inspected. Mail-in repairs are not guaranteed to be picked up, inspected, or repaired immediately unless specifically communicated in advance.
Diagnostic fee
If a repair is declined, not approved after inspection, or found to be outside the original request, a diagnostic fee may apply. Typical diagnostic fee is up to $40 depending on the situation.
What we do
- Return shipping is added to the final repair invoice.
- The final repair invoice must be paid in full before the device is shipped.
- We package the device for return shipment and provide tracking.
- We document condition before return shipment with photos.
- Signature service may be added for higher-value devices or repairs.
USPS updates
- USPS is our normal mail-in carrier so the process stays consistent with our PO Box setup.
- If we generate the label, tracking is already tied to the shipment.
- USPS tracking updates can also be received by email, text, or the USPS app.
- Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery timing and handling are outside our control.
